Although our firm can handle a variety of case types, including but not limited to estate planning trusts, medicaid planning and asset protection, probates, guardianships, contracts, real estate transactions, personal injury litigation, malpractice claims, wrongful death claims, and workers' compensation, the primary area of our firm's practice is estate planning of all forms. We specialize in everything from simple wills and revocable trusts to complex medicaid planning trusts and irrevocable trust/corporate structured asset protection plans.
Our attorneys are licensed to practice cases in the court systems within the state of Oklahoma. HOWEVER, it is important to understand that when it comes to estate planning, or other "transactional" type of work, whether it be simple revocable trusts or complex irrevocable medicaid protection plans, you DO NOT have to have an attorney that is licensed to practice in the court systems within your state to handle these services for you. We have clients in over twenty different states from Hawaii to Florida, and can provide services for transactional work (such as estate planning, trust creation, real estate transactions, or contract services, etc...) in any state in the United States. And most likely the fees for such services can be significantly less than those charged by local attorneys within your market.
Fees can vary depending on the case type, but we always offer a free initial consultation and can give you a more specific quote regarding fees at the end of such consultation. Also, many of our transactional type services (like estate planning and trust creation) are offered at a flat, guaranteed price that is stated up-front and prior to doing any work that will cost you anything out-of-pocket. One of the most attractive aspects regarding these flat-rate fees for estate planning and trust creation services is the ability of our firm to assist clients all over the continental U.S. but charge rates based on our "local" economy here in Oklahoma. Therefore, the prices can be significantly lower than what you may find from your local law firms.
Yes! We use both types of services depending on your geographic location. For clients that are local in and surrounding the Oklahoma area, we try to schedule live, in-person, in-home consultations. If you are located in an area that prohibits travel for an in-home consultation, we provide free video conferencing consultations to determine if we can assist you and are a good fit for your needs. Give us a call and we can schedule a free, in-home or video consultation to discuss your particular case. (918) 956-8228.
Although we love very much to serve our local clients here in Oklahoma, it is actually an even BETTER financial savings for clients located in other parts of the U.S. to take advantage of our services. The reason for this is simple... Oklahoma is a cheaper place to do business than 90% of the rest of the continental U.S. The economy in Oklahoma allows us to charge far less for EXACTLY THE SAME SERVICES provided by your local attorneys... no matter where you live. For instance, a California law firm may wish to charge up to $500-600 per hour to do estate planning, or charge a flat rate of around $2500-3000 just to draft the documents alone!!! (See the Estate Planning 101 Section to understand how drafting the documents is only half of the process.) So, that same firm may ask for upwards of $5k to create the trust, and help provide you the assistance needed to properly file all the documents and fund the trust. Here in Oklahoma, we can offer our clients the full service treatment for virtually half of those prices! Everything from drafting the documents, to executing the plan, to getting all the proper documents and deeds filed with the proper state and county authorities, to getting your financial assets properly funded into your trust. We help you with everything. You can save big $$$ simply because we operate in a state where mortgages cost our attorneys around $1,500 per month... not $4,000! OUR local economy drives what we charge clients for our services... NOT your local economy! So, take advantage and save!
